reality check

Curious about how you all feel about your office environment, your bosses and your work load after almost a year of being in the "real working environment"?

Has the uphoria of being out of school faded away?

Have you gotten a raise?

Do you have any office romances?

Do you plan on working at your current job until your old and gray and your 401K has been built up nicely?

Work is still good, the alure of the quirky design build firm has dimmed, but all in all everything is still going well, just got a promotion but still getting paid what I did when I walked in the door. Its hard to think there is something better out there when you are always teetering on something big, yet the balencing act is tiresome (on the checkbook)

I'm still doing lots of drugs so there is still some euphoric moments. I got a raise last October and would gladly take another, but am not ambitious enough to broach the subject with the boss-people. No romances in the office, though we did just get an attractive third year student recently, but my power of foresight tells me that'll never happen. And i plan on migrating out of town sometime during the winter.

Still no raise, did get a nice bonus at Christmas though. Our office dynamics are drastically changing. I've decided I detest CAD, always have. It's too mindless when your not on the designing end of it. I live for the DD/SD and rendering. I plan on leaving my job in the fall, with a babe and all. But I've got big plans in the works for later.
